Times New Viking - Teen Drama
Times New Viking are loud. Times New Viking are distorted. Times New Viking sound as if they've recorded their songs on a cheap tape recorder in basement. Sure, their songs are pretty and very American indie, but the sound they make is absolutely fantastic. They understand the golden rule of music: it doesn't matter which notes you play, or in what order. Someone can come along and play the perfect melody, but if you play the right sound at the exact right time, you will win.
So for now I can happily ignore that TNV are a pop band and just revel in the lo-fi redline assault of their sound. It's fan-tastic.
