Tape - Parade
I don't know about you, but after Noism I'm ready for something a bit lovely. Tape are a trio from Stockholm who make beautiful pastoral electronic sounds. Slur in a few acoustic instruments, sprinkle with a delicate helping of field recordings and blend the results together carefully. Parade is taken from their 2008 album Luminarium, and it is simply gorgeous. Soft guitar, quiet keyboards and slow, melancholy brass melt like a late summer haze. Stick this on auto-repeat, sink back, and just let it wash over you.
