If, like me, you have often asked yourself the question, "What would the Stone Roses have sounded like if they'd played prog rock with a folk backbeat?," then up until now you have probably found it difficult to formulate a satisfactory answer. Fret no longer, for the Yellow Moon Band are on top of the situation. With a razor-sharp jangly guitar they strip the last vestiges of pomp from the carcass of progressive rock, and join the bones for a danse macrabre. Taking a leaf from Jonathan Swift, Lunadelica comes from their debut album Travels into Several Remote Nations of the World, and it is ace. I commend this music to the house.
